busy busy and still till now im busy.Busy with what you guys would ask even though my FInal Year Project (FYP) is already over.. I still do have lessons for other subjects, so im still not totally free yet..i still have my Professional practice and Digital Media datelines to meet. Oh God! Everything is just so cramped! FYP took up so much of my time that i didnt have enough time to even sleep and do the rest of my work for other subjects.. Okay, School aside and now for a wkend update.. *base on my memory*
Saturday
As usual i didnt attend church and then was home alone with lil precious. In the Early noon, dear msged me asking if i was home alone and if i would like prawns for dinner.hahahaa...because the day before dear went prawning with her friend ash. She caught about a total of 10 while ash caught approx about double of that amount..wanted to join them but since i was already home and already showered, the lazy bugs crawled into me and rooted my butt at home..well this friday would be my turn! Prawning for me..yummy! this time i wana do Butter with garlic Baked prawns..probably with cheese on top of it..hmmm..is it mouth watering?
well, i got to flip the recipe books, well cause the internet just never provide me with the kind i was looking for..oh well, or maybe i should just improvise..hahaha well i got to do it quick cause friday is coming soon...hahaha..talking about friday, my aunt from australia will be touching down and will be staying over at my place for just one night..well, since that i will be prawning in the wee hours in the morning, then i guess i wont be sleeping?hahahaa...but i sure do wana see how my aunt is doing..right! back on track. Dear suggested pasta to be cooked with the Prawns, so she got the sauce. And when she arrived at my place, she surprised me .I'll let the photo do the job..
I would call them "SNACKS WITH LOVE"
Then proceeding on to washing and de-frosting of those prawns..coming in all different size..ahaha..while i was de-frosting the prawns, dear was cooking the pasta.. i chopped garlic to add flavour..then off it goes into the saucepan for a "sun-tanning" session...basically the 2 ingredient we used was garlic and olive oil.hahaha..no salt for seasoning or marinating..so yes , it was of original flavour..then dinner was nearing done.. Dear bought longan for desert.heehee...drop those ice-cubes in and its ready to be eaten..dear stayed till about 9.30 and left for home to rest before she heads for her mahjong session at her friend's condo..
Sunday
We met up for Lunch at PS and then followed by a movie "forbidden Kingdom" hahaha..it was humorous though. The heavenly god can actually speak English. I would rate the movie 3.5/5. The story-line was alittle lame but it was an interesting fusion between the ancient chinese history and the modern life.. well aint we living in a fusion society now? everything and anything they would like to try mixing and see what results are being produced.. i guess this is just human nature.. Curiosity..
Before the movie, we headed to the arcade and god noes how long i set foot in an arcade.. dear was playing to grab the soft-toy, which was stitch hugging his gf..it was so sweet.. but after so many tries, it was not possible to get it. Dear said there is a technique to get it, but probably it aint our luck? or is it just me being a jinx?.. time for the movie.. and after the movie, dear wanted to try again, so off to the arcade again for another round.. well still fail.. time to head home.. before heading home, i went to pet lovers to get precious things. GOSH it cost me A BOMB! the total bill came up to 94+ but after discount i paid $85.40. Thinking it must be alot of things that i got, but NO, i only gt 3 items.. I got her the accurate spray, garlic powder and he'ry conditioner. all on an average each individual item cost about 30+.. finally it was home for us..
and Back home, as usual precious was just being naughty, she again bit the masking tape (in her way of showing that she was angry with me. For coming home late).. after cleaning her up, i gave her the garlic powder to try. to my surprise, the garlic powder is actually really nice smelling. hahaha im not crazy..then it was a quick shower for both of us.. got freshen up and then it was the starting of our journey to serangoon garden. It was about approx 20- 25 minutes walk. walked to the cafe and then it was DINNER..yummy. i had a steak then she had OCBTOBER FEST (some sausage dish). we both had root beer float.
Precious refused to eat her muffin.. Naughty lil spoilt pampered puppy.. well Leaving her to be, dear ordered another cup of fruit juice, "FULL OF LOVE" which is a mix of orange and strawberry. Not long Be Qi Came to join us, cos she wasnt far away from us, she was over at CHOMP CHOMP having a friend's bday dinner..oh well, then it was walking home again..tired as we all were, we walked home.. After i got home, i had a quick shower and watched "MISTRESS OF SPICES" half way through the show i fall asleep w/o myself knowing. Nevertheless, i finished the whole entire movie and went into my room to hit for those soft and tempting pillows of mine.
Monday
Woke up early to try to get some work done, but to no avail, i didnt complete any work at all..then it was off to have my appointment with uncle weng seng for my PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE subject. Arrived early and waited for him at the lobby while he was in the midst of a meeting. At about 1.30pm he was done, and so my interview with him starts.. snapped pictures of his workplace and man the company is HUGE! with approx about 200+ people working in that particular company. He showed me his portfolio and it was just amazing. and i can never do like what he did. He has been in this field for 20 years and still going on.. He introduced to me to a new software and told me how easy it was using it. He said this particular sentence, if i didnt remember wrongly would be " your creativity must flow through your pen" and after you pen it down, you develop and there it becomes your idea. AMAZING ANALOGY. and a report will be written by me after i get his reply.. He is indeed a Busy man, but i guess its an interesting job. A job similar to mine future job, but its just that they need more visualization in 3D rather than 2D..His workplace is just Opposite the SIngapore POLO CLUB and from his seat, you're able to view the Polo Club.. A beautiful view i should say.
When i was working over at KKH, everyday i would pass by the Club and if im in luck, i would be able to see horses exercising on the track for their morning work-out. Aww, how i wish i could enter that club and see those horses in their stables..oh well, not so lucky i guess.. well working in such an environment aint that bad, greenery everywhere. good for the eyes and it balance your emotions judging by the accounts he handles, its an need. After that it was proceeding to dear's hs to relax and get some homework done.. reached home about 11.45pm..
